New advisory center: Unterhachinger Kreissparkasse is modernized!

The Kreissparkasse in Unterhaching is preparing for a comprehensive modernization: From February 7, 2025, the branch will be closed at Hauptstraße 28 to make room for the demolition and the new building. The entire process should be completed by autumn 2026, in which customers are welcomed in a new advisory center. In the meantime, customers can use the service in the nearby office in Taufkirchen or at three SB locations in Unterhaching, such as Merkur reported.

New advisory center with modern flair

The decision to demolish was not an easy undertaking. From 2019 to 2021, the Kreissparkasse needed several attempts to approve the building application. Above all, concerns about the parking situation caused discussions. A revised construction concept, which provided a set of the building by 5.70 meters, finally set the necessary signals for approval. After completion, the new building will offer modern architecture and innovative services that combine digital services with personal advice, according to the Kreissparkasse Munich-Starnberg-Ebersberg on its website kskmse.de .

However, the planned construction work raises concerns. In emails to the municipality, some Unterhachingen citizens express their concerns about possible traffic disruptions during the construction period, especially on the strongly frequented path between the train station and school. A resident demands creative solutions to ensure security for the many students. City hall spokesman Simon Hötzl calms the minds and emphasizes that the community is working closely with the builders and security authorities to take all concerns seriously and act effectively.
