Luminous window magic: Luitpold school inspires with advent calendar!

Luitpoldplatz, 67059 Ludwigshafen, Deutschland - AM Luitpoldplatz in Friesenheim has been celebrating a very special Advent project since the beginning of December. Every evening a new window of the Luitpold School shines as part of an impressive advent calendar. Until December 24th, a new decorated window with traditional Christmas motifs, such as snowflakes and stars, will be unveiled every day. This creative campaign is realized by 260 students in 13 classes and their teachers, such as Rheinpfalz.de reported. The calendar, which was originally initiated during the Corona pandemic to set a sign of hope and community, now not only delights the school children, but also the walkers who can admire the lit windows every day.

Rector Karla Tix emphasizes that, regardless of their faith, the students take part in the project with enthusiasm. On Mondays there are also joint advent songs in the festively decorated staircase. The commitment of the students and their connection to tradition become visible throughout the school and give everyone involved a lot of joy. A brave girl from second class also recently performed a poem, which further strengthens the school community. Thanks to the active support of the two caretakers until Christmas Eve, the windows will glow, which Tix commented with pride: "I just have a great team at my school", such as bambergguide.de
