Great interest: reading competition inspires Kempten schools!
Kempten, Deutschland - The 15th reading competition of the Rotary Club recently took place in Kempten, and the interest was overwhelming! A total of 18 primary schools from the region registered, which made the event an exciting highlight for the young readers. The event took place on the premises of the Margaretha and Josephinenstiftes, and the atmosphere was excellent, like merkur.de reported. The two best in the competition have now qualified for the next Rotary distribution competition, which will take place on June 25, 2025 in Starnberg. In parallel to this competition, the Rotary Club Kempten-Residence awarded a youth promotion award to the "Juze am Bühl". This organization inspires with its concept of neighborhood aid, in which young people from twelve years of age can collect points by doing purchases for older and needy people.
