New shine for the St. Johannerhof: Tradition returns!

A historical chapter is re -opened: The popular tavern "St. Johannerhof" in Ternitz, which has a long tradition, is expected to reopen after elaborate renovation work at the end of April, early 2025. Christoph Gruber, the restaurateur behind this project, was thrilled when he opened the door to the construction site and found: "Just come in, but there is currently still an absolute construction site". A collection of documents that deals with Johann Gruber's life was launched to capture the fate of this priest and teacher as well as the tragic events in the warehouse for future generations. The digital preparation of this collection is possible thanks to the “Platform Johann Gruber” and the Diocese of Linz.
