Coffee restaurant Das Kolin in Vienna before - is the bankruptcy finally?

The renowned coffee restaurant "Das Kolin" in Vienna sees itself in serious difficulties, since on December 5, a bankruptcy proceedings against the popular restaurant opened. According to the Alpine Officer Association (AKV), the restaurant is no longer able to meet its financial obligations. This was done at the request of a creditor and is now checked by a responsible commercial court in Vienna to clarify the property relationships and possibly the causes of insolvency, as well as falstaff

The managing director Dieter Elsler confirmed the opening of the insolvency proceedings and explained that this step was due to a deficit that he caused due to an error. Although he had paid the residues, he did not know that he had to present the corresponding evidence in court. An appointment with the insolvency administrator is already scheduled for Monday. The future of the restaurant remains uncertain: whether a renovation plan is being followed or “the Kolin” has to close its doors forever is still in the stars, according to the report by OE24 .
