Auxiliary transport to Ukraine: Steyrer Verein collects food!
Once again, the old people's joy of old people from Steyr shows great commitment to those in need in Ukraine and Romania. On Friday, December 13th, food donations can be handed in at the old warehouse in Grünburg from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wolf Dieter Pichler, the association's chairman, reported that seven trucks were sent to the two countries with urgently needed goods this year. This campaign is part of an auxiliary transport that takes place at the beginning of January 2025 and again depends on financial support to ensure the logistics of this transport. All donations are welcome, and a donation can also be transferred to the Volksbank Bad Hall club account. Further information can be found directly from Meinbezirk.at .
aid projects and club activities
The commitment of the association is not limited to this fundraising campaign. Already on September 23, a club meeting took place in the Heinz inn in Bad Hall, where important topics related to the support of Ukraine and Romania were discussed. In May of this year, reports on past trips were also discussed. These meetings show the continuous endeavor of the association to help people in need. The reporting on the currently ongoing projects and the planning of future transport campaigns are key topics that are repeatedly treated in the meetings, as altesachen-freudemachen.webnode.at
The need for this auxiliary transport remains urgent, because the humanitarian challenges in the region are still great. Every contribution counts to improve the living conditions of the people in Ukraine and Romania and to help those affected to make ends meet in difficult times.
