Magical Christmas concerts: Melody choir enchants the Advent season!

A special musical festival of special kind experienced visitors on November 30th and December 1, 2024 in the Marl Theater! The melody choir turned the stage into a magical winter wonderland and took the audience into the magical world of Christmas carols. Together with the children's and youth choir, which, under the direction of Angelika Claasen, has been rehearsing for the festive appearances since August, they ensured unforgettable moments that perfectly initiated the Advent magic.

The concerts offered a colorful range of Christmas classics who invited the audience to dream and sing along. With the German version of "Let It Snow" was asked for a white Christmas, while the children's choir conquered the hearts of the audience with "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". The Highlight of the evening was certainly the rousing performance of "Rockin 'Around the Christmas Tree", which made the theater shake! The clear voice of the children and the powerful volume of the approximately 80 adult singers created a festive atmosphere that captivated everyone present.

A big thank you goes to the numerous helpers and the support of the fire brigade, who made this event possible. The anticipation of the Christmas season was fully ignored by this musical journey!
