In the picturesque Rottweil, a lively Christmas market event took place this year, to which a 14-member delegation from the Comité de Jumelage from Hyères came. Led by President Marco Soiteur and Vice President Christine Krapf-Laborde, guests enriched the Christmas market with traditional specialties such as olive paste, orange jam and fish soup. The reception in the town hall by Mayor Dr. Ruf and Marco Schaffert, the head of department of the cultural office, formed a festive start. The guests had the opportunity to visit the production rooms in the Trossingen noodle house and to experience the fascinating world of crystals in Dietingen. A trip to the Christmas market in Villingen and the craftsman market in the Franziskaner provided further festive impressions. The highlight was a dinner in which Nicholas even read out of his golden book in French. The popular stalls of the delegation were sold out after three days, which provides enthusiasm and high demand for the sweet and hearty delicacies.
