Discover magical Christmas stories on the Millstätter light path!

The Millstätter light path enchants with incomparable experiences during this Christmas season. Under the motto "Come on, I tell you a Christmas fairy tale", visitors are taken on a magical journey at Lake Millstatt. Especially for this occasion, the artist Monika Peitler created stories around the time traveling Tahmina. Thanks to the Locandy app and QR codes, guests can experience these at six locations along the approximately 2.4 km long light path by listening the captivating stories on their headphones. This fairytale hike extends from the Barbara-Egger-Park down to the banks of the lake, where artistic light intervenes illuminate the dark winter evenings, such as Klick-kaernten.at reported.

artistic lights and Christmas surprises

The artist collective Ochoresotto from Graz ensures the impressive light projections, which is known, among other things, for the staging of the St. St. Stephen's Cathedral. These unique installations called "Compositions of Lines" were created especially for Millstatt. In addition, children in the Stifts-Innerhof can discover the speaking Feenbaum Lin-Darius, who tells stories from Feen and Kobolden every day between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Another highlight is the possibility of writing wishes on small wooden ships and handing them over to the Millstatt See-an enchanting tradition that is highlighted by millstaettersee.com

In addition to the light path, Advent is enriched by wintry shipping on Lake Millstatt. Kaptain Josef Schuster shows the passengers the happy and festive atmosphere of the region. The Advent pre-opening on November 28 was already delighted with these attractions and was presented by the tourism association Veronika Palle and other inaugurated forces as an event that underlines the high art of art of lighting. These fascinating events make the Millstätter Lichtweg an unforgettable experience in the Christmas season, which is also supported by a first Advent shuttle that offers regular connections between Radenstein and Spittal.
