Curiosity in Vietnam: Gigantic virus sculptures provide laughs!

Đà Lạt, Vietnam - An unusual attraction in Vietnam is amazed and amusement among international tourists: the "Covid-19 Park" in Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Complex in đà Lạt. This amusement park, which has existed since 2021, is designed as a tribute to the pandemic and shows human -sized sculptures of the coronavirus with gluels. Visitors such as the British holidaymaker Ella Violetta wrote about her bizarre experiences in this unique park, which recently received international attention. On Instagram she shared recordings of huge virus sculptures and scenes in which the virus carries the earth on a bahr or is on trial. Her reactions are complex: "It was such a strange experience," she said to the South West News Service. The tourists were amused whether the locals also see the representations humorously - but they seemed to stay serious, like Kreiszeitung reported.

Among the many attractions of the park are not only the huge viruses, but also a gigantic watch that marks the course of the pandemic, and an oversized syringe that pierces the virus. Even a box scene between two viruses ensures amusement among the visitors. The Irish travel blogger Toby Doherty, who recently visited the park, described him as the strangest attraction in the region. He noticed that the guests had the opportunity to slip into a few gloves and symbolically to "beat up" the virus. The representations give the impression of a dystopian dream, which, according to Violetta, is particularly reinforced by the sculptures wrapped in trees.

serious background

The initiator of the park, Trinh Ba dung, relied on a message of "safe and peaceful Vietnam" with more than 80 sculptures. Locals reported three years ago that the park was "very useful, especially for children", while international guests are apparently more likely to enjoy the bizarre and humorous aspects of the topic. Despite the seriousness behind the topic, many tourists seem to see their visit as a winding journey into the past of the pandemic. Violetta wondered in her contribution whether the park still existed, but current reports from other bloggers indicate that the attraction is still available and continues to ensure magical experiences.
