Grosjean is restarting: Formula 1 star becomes a reserve driver at Prema Racing!

The former Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean is retained by American motorsport! Equipped with a colorful horizon of experience, the Frenchman changes to Prema Racing, a new team in the NTT Indycar Series after leaving Juncos Hollinger Racing. Grosjean will work as a reserve driver, while the main cockpits of Callum Ilott and Robert Shwartzman are occupied, as was announced during the vehicle presentation on Friday. Grosjean, who has not yet won in his IndyCar career, has impressive statistics: three pole positions, five second places and a third place are evidence of his talent, all collected on circular courses, including in the California Laguna Seca.

Prema Racing: A promising new team

Prema Racing has already made a name for itself in the Formula young classes and is considered one of the best teams that have won several titles in Formula 2 and Formula 3. This reinforcement with Grosjean could bring the team a decisive advantage on the asphalt, while the IndyCar season began on March 2, 2025 with the first race on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. The route, known for its fast and narrow curves as well as long straights, promises high speed and exciting motorsport. Like Juncos Hollinger Racing , they invite everyone to be part of this exciting journey.

With the comprehensive talent and the experience of Grosjean on board, the Neo-IndyCar team seems well equipped to be competitive in one of the most accurate racing series in the world. It remains to be seen how the combination of the experienced driver and the promising team will prove itself in the coming season. Innovations and progress in the league could not only be exciting for the drivers, but also for the fans. Get ready for an exciting year in IndyCar racing!
