Missing hikers found alive after 13 days in Australia!
A 23-year-old student who had been missing in the Kosciuszko National Park in Australia since December 26th was found alive after 13 days. The student had separated from his friends to take photos and did not appear at an agreed meeting point. Around 300 emergency services tirelessly searched for him. During this time he stated that he had only eaten two cereal bars, which he found in an abandoned hut. On New Year's Eve, hiking sticks and garbage that were assigned to him were found near Kosciuszko Creek.
Only on Sunday that camera equipment was discovered near a campfire position on the Gehi River. The student, who kept alive with water from streams, was finally discovered by other hikers near the Blue Lake, who heard his call for help. After his rescue, he was examined by doctors and reunited with his family. The Kosciuszko National Park extends over an area of over 6,700 square kilometers and is about 350 kilometers southwest of Sydney, such as Radio Ennepe Ruhr reported.
