Lenz, who was active for more than 30 years as a freelancer for various broadcasters, mainly the NDR, even once filled the role of a DJ. These works are not only a tribute to its rich creative process, but also an important contribution to the German media landscape of the post -war period. They are created in an era when the radio was still the dominant medium and the radio play was considered a cultural highlight. The “Radio pieces” form volumes 23 to 25 of the 27 volumes of work edition, which will be released in the Hoffmann & Campe Verlag in 2026.
