Wiener Neustadt, Österreich - The rural youth of Lower Austria today presented an impressive donation check for over 100,216 euros to the Ö3 Christmas miracle in Wiener Neustadt. This large sum benefits the "light into the dark" soarfelt fund, which supports families in emergencies in Austria. Over 160 rural youth groups have come together to collect this monumental sum. The state manager Sabine Pfisinger and state chairman Markus Höhlmüller personally handed over the check for the many committed members. "We are simply very, very grateful for every single member, every local group," said Markus Höhlmüller during an Ö3 interview. In order to celebrate the event properly, the rural youth anthem "Mia San" was played by Raureif.

The donation collection runs until Tuesday, December 24th, under the motto "You donate, we send!" In the Ö3-Wunschhütte. For every donation, no matter how small or large, the listeners can give music requests. This campaign is broadcast around the clock all over Austria on the radio and on site at the Ö3-Wunschhütte. The money collected is used directly to support families in acute emergencies, such as reported.

In addition, the great initiative of the rural youth is also recognized with the Landjugend-Award, which was awarded to a project from Lower Austria. This shows the outstanding performance and the community spirit of the agricultural youth associations in the region, such as Digitalmagazin
