The "Ö3 Christmas Wunder" in Wiener Neustadt has set a spectacular record: Over 5,486,812 euros were collected for families in need! From December 19 to 24, the Ö3 moderators Philipp Hansa, Tina Ritschl and Sylvia Graf Nonstop from the Wunschhütte broadcast and filled the listeners' music requests against donations for the "Light in the Dark Sofort Aid Fund". The fantastic result was announced on December 24th at 10 a.m.

The event offered an impressive show with numerous prominent guests, including Mayor Klaus Schneeberger and Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner. The musical highlights included appearances by the well -known artists Seiler and Speer and Rainhard Fendrich. In addition, the donations collected provided a strong sign of solidarity in all of Austria, such as OTS . In a special act, donations of 100,216 euros were handed over by the Lower Austria rural youth, while the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences collected 11,111 euros.
This year's Christmas campaign once again made it clear how strong the cohesion in the Ö3 community is. In addition to the desired hut, many local companies were also involved in making their contribution. With the sale of a biscuit book, the Vienna Neustädter Sparkasse brought an additional 7,000 euros for a good cause. In the tradition of recent years, the Ö3 Christmas miracle shows how radio brings people together and donates hope in difficult times.
