Mayor Cabrera has taken a place on the board of the league and was sworn in for another year as Vice President of the Cal Cities Latino Caucus. "In this committee, it enables me to develop guidelines that protect communities like Moreno Valley and improve security in cities in California." His commitment to security has made him teach as a lecturer at the Moreno Valley College and to work for safer habitats.
