St. Ingbert, Deutschland - A true festival of colors and shapes experienced visitors to the 39th mineral, fossil, jewelry and gemstone exchange "noble stones" in St. Ingbert! Almost 3,700 enthusiastic guests flocked to the town hall last weekend to admire the dazzling treasures. The absolute highlight? The brilliant appearance of the 24th German gemstone queen, Vivian Heidrich, who was recently crowned the queen and is now represented by the Hunsrück-close-up region.

"I am particularly happy to be at this fair today!", The young queen beamed when she opened the second day of the fair. Accompanied by the 2nd chairman of the association, Bettina Reiter, she spoke to the numerous visitors and praised the exhibitors for their impressive presentations. Vivian, who grew up with the passion for gemstones - her grandfather was gem grinder - visibly enjoyed chatting with dealers and learning more about the fascinating world of minerals.

a program full of surprises

The fair not only offered royal gloss, but also a varied supporting program with 58 exhibitors and 160 tables full of treasures. The special exhibition "primeval sea monster" attracted attention when Maximilian Wolf with enthusiasm demonstrated the fossil exemption. The visitors were enthusiastic when he revealed a dinosaurs' base tracks!

There were exciting hands -on activities such as geod cracking and gemstone drilling for the little guests. The 8-year-old Clemens and his mother had a lot of fun with the rally around gemstones and fossils. The traditional raffle, which supports aid projects, also caused excitement. Organizer Anne Schorr was overjoyed with the smooth process and the satisfaction of the dealers, many of them have been coming to St. Ingbert for over 20 years. And the best news: Gemstone queen Vivian Heidrich has already promised her coming for the next year!
