Russia intensifies attacks: Trump and the Ukraine crisis in focus!

Russia's troops put everything on one card - the escalation of the attacks on Ukraine before Trump's inauguration is alarming!

In a dramatic turning point of the geopolitical situation, Russia has strengthened its attacks on Ukraine, all of this in the run-up to the US elections on November 5. The strategy? The isolationists that Donald Trump support to strengthen and increase the pressure on Ukraine. A dangerous game that keeps the world in suspense!

The British defense authorities report alarming: "November was the fifth month in a row in which the Russian armed forces recorded an increase in their losses." Shocking 45,680 Russian soldiers are said to have fallen or wounded in November. The Ukrainian armed forces appreciate the losses in September at 38.130 and in October to 41,980. A bloody price for the Russian ambitions!

The offensive escalates

The intensity of the Russian attacks has increased dramatically. According to the Institute for the Study of War, the Russian troops conquered an average of 22 to 27 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory in October and November. But the price for it? Over 125,800 Russian losses in just three months! An unsustainable state that even the US authorities could not predict.

The Ukrainian air strikes have also increased. Victoria Vdovychenko, an expert in defense strategies, reports of over 6,000 UAVS and rockets used between September and November - that's three times as much as in summer! A clear sign that the conflict not only continues but intensified.

On election day in the United States, even North Korean troops acted actively in the Kursk region in Russia. A worrying sign that Russia can mobilize fresh staff while the world is watching.

Putin's game with Perception

Russia's President Vladimir Putin skillfully uses the situation. He manipulated public opinion and gave the impression that the United States provokes Russia and extends the war. "President Trump strives for peace and wants to end the 'endless wars'," says a supporter of Trump. The voters made it clear that they want peace and an end to US financing for the war in Ukraine.

But while the voices become louder after negotiations, Russia shows no signs of willingness to compromise. Putin has drawn up clear conditions for talks: the Ukrainian troops have to withdraw from the occupied areas, and Ukraine has to give up its NATO plans. An impossible deal for Ukraine, which focuses on a "victory plan" that includes additional weapons and immediate NATO membership.

The opinions in Ukraine are split. A survey shows that 64.1 percent of Ukrainians believe that negotiations only make sense if real security guarantees come from the west. The fear that Russia will attack again after a short break is deep!

The question remains: Will Trump, if he comes into office on January 20, 2024, will return support for Ukraine? Observers warn that this could have catastrophic consequences for Ukraine. Trump has already indicated that Ukraine should be prepared for cuts in US help. A dangerous game that could bring Ukraine into an even more precarious situation!

Europeans are aware of the impending danger and try to fill the gaps that could leave a possible departure from the United States. A “coalition of the willing” from the Nordic countries, the Baltic States and Poland could be available to support Ukraine. But whether this is sufficient remains questionable.

The world watches a spellbound while the events rolled over. The escalation of the attacks and the geopolitical maneuvers of Russia are a dangerous game that not only questions Ukraine, but the entire world order!
