Neptune State Prize 2025: Vote now for the best water projects!

Austria's most important environmental and innovation price, the Neptune State Prize for Water, goes into the next round! From February 3 to 17, 2025, citizens have the opportunity to coordinate online via their favorite projects. The results will be presented at the festive award ceremony in Vienna on March 20. The choice meets nine outstanding projects that were selected from a total of 738 submissions. These include innovative technologies for underground irrigation (Lite Soil GmbH) and methods for micro -system cleaning (Danube Chemistry), as well as a cross -border school project on environmental education between Austria and Slovenia. The Minister of Water Norbert Totschnig emphasizes that the price underlines the deeply rooted importance of water protection in Austria and invites everyone to give up their voice!

The online voting and exciting profits

The vote takes place in three categories, and in addition to the main prize, participants can also vote for the federal state with the strongest water project. In addition, ten impressive photographs can take the Wasserwien photo and video competition against each other. The online voting is open until February 17, and attractive prizes are waiting for the participants, including a short vacation at the Wolfgangsee and popular products from Waterdrop.
