Under the motto "The Waltz King", the ball celebrates the 200th birthday of Johann Straus's son with an impressive florist show and musical highlights. The Viennese city gardens are doing everything they can to dive into a unique sea of ​​flower, consisting of around 100,000 flowers, including orchids, roses and lilies. Climate City Councilor Jürgen Czernohorszky emphasizes that the creativity of the Vienna city gardeners is decisive to make this ball one of the most beautiful in the city, reports the Press Vienna.

The program of the evening promises a variety of musical attractions, which are designed by the Vienna Ball Orchestra and the Bigband under the direction of Wolfgang Steubl. In addition, dance courses and live bands take place in various halls, including a salsa lounge and a disco with DJ Mike until the early hours of the morning. Exclusive flower menus are served for gourmets, which are only available in combination with an admission ticket, such as Vienna Ticket reported.

The tickets for the 101st flower ball vary in the price - from 60 euros for reduced up to 170 euros for places in the best areas. The festive wardrobe is mandatory: women in elegant evening dresses and gentlemen in tuxedo or dark suits. A special highlight of the evening will be the popular "bat quadrille", which will take place at midnight and at 2 a.m.
