30 years of dance for a good cause: benefit quadrille in Vienna!
On Monday, January 6, 2025, the 30th anniversary of the benefit quadrille in favor of the Vienna relief organization will be celebrated in the Elmayer dance school. The event, which takes place under the motto "Aller Tour de Main", promises a spectacular dance pleasure, in which around 70 couples learn the bat quadrille within two hours. Thomas Schäfer-Elmayer and his team have planned to prepare the participants for the popular audience quadrils of this ball season. The complete networks of the event benefits a youth project of the Vienna aid organization, which takes care of young people with and without disabilities, as reported.
Details about the event
The benefit quadrille begins at 6:30 p.m., admission is from 6:00 p.m. in Bräunerstraße 13, 1010 Vienna. The participation amount is 30 euros in advance, while the price at the box office is 35 euros. Students and adolescents can take part for only 10 euros. Couples who would like to register for the event can do so by email to imhofkommitee@wiener.hilfswerk.at . The organization is an initiative of the Annemarie-Imhof Committee, which has been committed to social projects in Vienna for over 35 years and can look back on a large number of established events, including the traditional festive evening and the benefit Christmas market. The next festival evening of the organization will take place on April 9, 2025 in the House of Industry, which underlines the diversity of the activities of the committee, such as imhofkomitee.at
The Wiener Aidwerk itself does important social work, especially in areas such as mobile care, social services, as well as support for children and people in need. With around 2,000 employees, the organization takes care of the concerns of seniors and people with disabilities and organizes a wide range of educational and leisure activities. This benefit event is therefore not only a festival of dance, but also significant support for numerous social projects in Vienna.
