Graffiti scandal in Paasdorf: 10,000 euros in damage to wagons!
Last week, the freight wagons of the Leiser Mountains Regiobahn, which were parked at the Paasdorf beet camp, were strongly sprayed by Vandalen. The spray actions caused considerable damage to at least five wagons, which means that the corresponding vehicles are currently not allowed to be used in rail traffic unless the damage is repaired. This not only brings a financial loss, but the total damage height amounts to around 10,000 euros, as managing director Johann Narrenhofer reports. The perpetrators left the caps of their spray cans at the crime scene, which leaves valuable DNA traces that can be secured by the police, such as nön.at reported.
Narrenhofer expressed angrily about vandalism and spoke of “brain and characterless fellow human beings”, which enjoy damage to foreign property. In order to get the perpetrators on the track, the regiobahn exposes a reward of 2,500 euros for information that leads to the capture of the vandals. Information can be submitted at any police station or directly on the regiobahn. In addition, Narrenhofer appealed to the population of immediately informing the police for suspicious activities on the rail facilities. Interestingly, Narrenhofer asked not to publish any pictures of the sprayed wagons so as not to pay more attention to the perpetrators, so noen.at
