Roofing fire in Trier: residents injured, huge damage to property!

On Sunday, January 5, 2025, the Trier professional fire brigade was called for a mission in a new base. At 3:40 p.m., the control center reported a roof structure on the science park, which, however, turned out to be an extensive apartment fire in an attic apartment.

The emergency services found a heating fire on site. During attempts to extinguish, a resident of the affected apartment injured and had to be taken to a hospital. All other residents of the apartment building were evacuated during use.

Investigators of the police have started the examinations of the cause of the fire, with defective heating being considered as a presumable cause.
