In the Linz Regional Court, four defendants - three men and a woman between the ages of 26 and 41 - are on trial because of a spectacular kidnapping. On April 1, 2024, the suspects brutally kidnapped a 31-year-old man with Turkish roots and demanded a ransom of 175,000 euros from his brother in Turkey.
