Drunk driver gets stuck in the mud of a hiking trail!

A 26-year-old caused excitement in Eutin late Monday evening when he drove his Ford Fiesta on a hiking trail on Lake Großiner and was in the softened underground. Local residents of Riemannstraße alerted the police around 10:15 p.m., who arrived at the site a little later.

When the officials arrived, the Ford Fiesta was severely inclined and stuck deep in the mud. The driver was in the vehicle with a running engine and tried in vain to free himself. The policemen found clear indications of previous alcohol consumption.

A voluntary breath alcohol test resulted in a value of 1.02 per thousand. The exact reason for the choice of the hiking trail, on the other hand, remained unclear. After taking blood sample and ensuring his driver's license, the driver was released. He will now have to answer for drunkenness in traffic and violations of the road traffic regulations.
