Vaillant Group opens state -of -the -art electronics factory in Remscheid!

Remscheid, Deutschland - In a spectacular step, the Vaillant Group opened its brand new factory for electronics components in Remscheid on November 20, 2024! NRW Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst and Mayor Burkhard Mast-Weisz were present at the ceremonial inauguration and thus gave the starting signal for a state-of-the-art production facility that forms the heart of the company's international production network.

The new electronics factory will supply the worldwide locations of the Vaillant Group with an impressive capacity of around 5 million electronics assemblies per year. These components are crucial for the regulation and control of modern heat pump systems and gas heaters. The decision to establish this factory was due to the rapidly increasing need for electronic components, which are essential for the strategically important heat pump business. With this investment, Vaillant not only secures its own production capacities, but can also react flexibly to market changes.

The new production facility extends over 12,000 square meters and was built in less than two years, right next to the company headquarters and the research and development center. An innovative heat pump system and a photovoltaic system ensure that the factory is almost completely operated with regenerative energy. Around 150 specialists in production are already employed at the start of production, which underlines the importance of this new facility for the region.

Prime Minister Wüst praised the investment as a strong sign of North Rhine-Westphalia and emphasized the connection of tradition and innovation, which the family business has shaped for 150 years. Dr.-Ing. Norbert Schiedeck, CEO of the Vaillant Group, explained that the expansion of electronics production was part of the long -term corporate strategy to consolidate the leading position in the European heat pump market. Vaillant is already one of the three largest providers of heat pumps in Europe - a clear indication of the dynamic future of the company!
