event background

Five years ago, the GBV joined the free voters (FW), which strengthens the cooperation and the political influence of the citizens' association. With this anniversary, it is not only a look back to the past few years, but also a view of future projects.

In addition, local platforms report on various topics that affect the region, such as the over 50 years of discussion about the possible location of a nuclear power plant in the Marienberg district of Schechen in the Rosenheim district. Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann recently announced changes to speed up asylum procedures in Bavaria. The current challenges, such as the integration of migrants into the public service and the effects on society, are also aspects that are discussed in regional politics. Another point is the invitation to the citizens' consultation with the members of the state parliament Josef Lausch and Sepp Hofer, which will take place on July 11, 2024, such as Edglocal.com

The upcoming anniversary celebration and political developments in the region illustrate the commitment of the citizens' association, as well as the free voters that stand up for the concerns of the community. The celebrations aim to strengthen the community and to promote the exchange between the citizens and their representatives.
