FPÖ: Belakowitsch fordert frauen- und familienfreundliche Politik zur Bekämpfung des demografischen Wandels

FPÖ – Belakowitsch on RWR cards for apprentices: Counteract demographic change with women- and family-friendly policies!

Vienna (OTS) – „Now that ÖVP Minister of Labour and Economics, Kocher, together with his black-green federal government, is driving the economy in our country further into the ground, with more and more companies leaving, company bankruptcies at a decades-high, and our country having record unemployment with almost 50 percent of the unemployed coming from abroad, the Minister now wants to take away the last remaining apprenticeships from Austrians and thus the prospect of a good and solid education in a domestic company. The ongoing anti-Austria policy of the federal government with Kocher’s never-ending anti-Austria statements is simply despicable. The demographic change must be countered with women and family-friendly policies, and not by further driving up our unemployment statistics with even more people from abroad!“, reacted FPÖ deputy parliamentary group leader and spokesperson for social affairs, Dr. Dagmar Belakowitsch, to a press release from the ÖVP Minister of Labour.

The fact that Kocher argues for the expansion of the Red-White-Red card to include apprenticeships based on demographic change, demonstrates the constant attempt by the People’s Party to neglect children: „Since the debate about the ÖVP’s demand to abolish educational leave for new mothers, it has been clear that this government is trying to put more and more pressure on women with its family and women-hostile policies, discriminate against them and defame them. Kocher has already proved this with his contemptuous statements that mothers could work more than part-time. It is a shame that in a country like Austria, a woman who chooses children and family is financially punished for it, while the ÖVP and the Greens spend all the taxpayers‘ money on people from all over the world. It is clear that the demographic divide is becoming even greater, as it is not only a problem created by this federal government, but apparently intentional. This is exactly where we need to take action, and as Freedom Party, we are also ready to do so. With the FPÖ as the strongest party in this country and a Chancellor Herbert Kickl, there will finally be politics for Austrians again. A woman who chooses family must not be disadvantaged, but on the contrary, she should be rewarded for it. That is what we stand for as FPÖ!“

Table:

ÖVP Minister of Labour FPÖ
Company bankruptcies High
Unemployment rate Almost 50%
Demographic change Neglected Countered with women and family-friendly policies
Immigration Encouraged Opposed, as it contributes to higher unemployment rates
Women’s rights Neglected Supported, with the aim of rewarding women who choose family

The current press release by the FPÖ highlights the ongoing political debate regarding apprenticeships in Austria. The ÖVP Minister of Labour and Economics, Kocher, has been accused of neglecting the interests of Austrians by expanding the Red-White-Red card to include apprenticeships. The FPÖ argues that this policy decision contributes to the increase in unemployment rates, especially among Austrians.

The press release also touches upon the demographic change in Austria and emphasizes the need for women- and family-friendly policies to counteract this change. The FPÖ criticizes the government for its alleged discrimination against women who choose to focus on family and argues that they should be rewarded instead.

It is worth noting that the FPÖ has historically been critical of immigration policies and has advocated for stricter regulations. This stance is reflected in their opposition to the expansion of the Red-White-Red card, as they believe it contributes to the already high unemployment rates in the country.

The press release concludes by presenting the FPÖ as the party that supports the interests of Austrians and promises to prioritize their needs if elected into power.
