People's Party strengthens their power: election sequence in Gablitz and Marchegg!

On May 18, 2025, post -selections were held in several Lower Austrian communities than part of the municipal elections carried out in January. In the towns of Gablitz, Marchegg, Maria Lanzendorf and an election sprinkle in Klosterneuburg, the results of the People's Party (ÖVP) could be confirmed again. The ÖVP holds the absolute majority in both Gablitz and Marchegg and defends first place in Klosterneuburg. In the municipality of Scheibbs, the Social Democratic Party (SPÖ) managed to conquer a historical ÖVP stronghold. The Greens and Neos also achieved good results, especially in the Vienna surrounding area.
