Potsdam, Brandenburg, Deutschland - in Potsdam, the Brandenburg SPD took a crucial step towards the federal election. Olaf Scholz was elected at the state representative assembly with impressive 90.8 percent of the vote as top candidate. Of the total of 120 votes, Scholz received 109 votes in favor, while eight delegates voted against him and contained three. This nomination marks an important moment for the SPD in the run-up to the upcoming Bundestag election on February 23, as already rbb24 reported.
Scholz 'support and strategies
The Prime Minister of Brandenburg, Dietmar Woidke, made it clear that the SPD still has all the chances for the Bundestag election despite the current surveys behind the Union and the AfD. Woidke encouraged his party and emphasized that this election had not yet been decided. Scholz, who emerged as the strongest force in Brandenburg three years ago, also competed against Annalena Baerbock from the Greens in his constituency in his constituency in Potsdam. In the last election, Scholz received 94 percent of the votes and won the direct mandate, as well as emphasized the time.
