ÖVP federal party conference: Stocker is elected chairman in Wiener Neustadt!

In a decisive step for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), the election of Christian Stocker is the new party leader in the Arena Nova in Wiener Neustadt on Saturday, March 29th. The 65-year-old Chancellor, who surprisingly followed Karl Nehammer, follows in the footsteps of a predecessor who was chosen with 100 percent of the vote in 2022. Stocker previously had to act as the managing party chairman and is now officially introduced into his role.
