NEOS attack SPÖ: Bablers exposed as a government failure!

Hofburg, Wien, Österreich - Austrian politics is in shock after the coalition negotiations were failed between the ÖVP, SPÖ and Neos. The Neos vehemently criticize SPÖ boss Andreas Babler and blame him for the failed conversations. In a blog post, they accuse him of showing themselves "several times destructive and choleric" during the negotiations. Beate Meinl-Reisinger, the head of the NEOS, announced that her party broke off the negotiations, whereupon ÖVP boss Karl Nehammer also stopped negotiations with the SPÖ and resigned as party chairman. This reports Oe24.at .

braer on the defensive

Andreas Babler is now faced with massive criticism. In a press conference, he indicated that the ÖVP was to blame for the failed negotiations, while the NEOS quickly reacted to his statements and rejected his representations as "factual". BABLER accused the ÖVP of calling for freely pensions and health sector, describing their suggestions as unacceptable. Nevertheless, both the NEOS and the SPÖ spoke about a package of measures, which, for example, would have provided for higher relocation taxes and measures to combat fraud. This information comes from a report by Kurier

The NEOS accuse BALER to withdraw a compromise already achieved for pension reform and instead to express higher tax claims. According to the NEOS, Babler even announced that it "blow up" everything that questions his credibility and ability to take over the lead. Ultimately, it can be observed that the SPÖ with braers at the top seems to be banished in the role of the strongest opposition power, as has been the case since 2017. It remains questionable whether a resignation of brokers would really be a solution in this Situation. In their criticism, the NEOS call for a re -evaluation of political responsibility on the part of avenues in order not to endanger the possibility of a future coalition.
