Franziska Brantner elected the top candidate of the Greens in Reutlingen!

At a large party congress of the Baden-Württemberg Greens in Reutlingen, the current federal chairman Franziska Brantner impressively took over the top candidate office for the upcoming Bundestag elections. In a clearly supportive mood, the delegates chose the 45-year-old with a whopping 92.35 percent of the votes, which corresponds to 181 votes in favor, 7 no votes and 8 abstentions, as the Stuttgarter News reported.

At the party congress, Brantner made it clear that she is striving for a clear strategy for digitization and affordability of life: "Life must also be affordable," she said. Together with her predecessor, Ricarda Lang, who was elected to second list position, the party will lead the party to the election campaign in an unusual dual leadership. This choice was by no means a walk, since an unexpected martial candidate against Lang has failed with 94 percent of the votes, as the Swabian"> Zeitung added.

Brantner also emphasized the need for a closed attitude in the Ukraine conflict and criticized the Social Democrats, which in her opinion show "inner tornness". The promotion of innovations remains a central concern of the new top candidate, while at the same time she is against the CSU and its personnel decisions. With the strong support of 92 percent of the votes, Brantner has the opportunity to energetically contribute to the election campaign and the Greens strengthened to the voters: to carry inside.
