Brand attack in Vienna: 60-year-old arrested after a family dispute!

in Vienna-Floridsdorf there was a shocking arson attack last week, in which six cars went up in flames in a municipal building settlement. The alleged perpetrator, a 60-year-old Syrian, is suspected of having lit the cars after a family dispute. FPÖ security spokesman Hannes Amesbauer described this incident as another example of the failed asylum and migration policy of the övp and SPÖ, which would thus endanger the security of Austrian citizens. According to Amesbauer, the population experiences an increasing number of violent incidents that are directly related to inadequate integration measures.

Amesbauer also expressed his anger about the decision of the SPÖ-led city of Vienna to provide a foreign citizen's apartment that was originally intended for socially weak Austrians. This is just one of many examples of how the Austrian taxpayers are asked to pay for the consequences of the deeds of such migrants. "The physical integrity and property of Austria must be protected, and not delegate illegal immigrants," remarked Amesbauer. He called for a fundamental turn in asylum and migration policy, which he only sees with the Freedom Party (FPÖ).

The ÖVP in focus

The Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), currently under the direction of Karl Nehammer, is the largest party in the National Council and has a long history in Austrian politics. The party-an amalgamation of Christian Democrats and Liberal Conservatives-has often been shown in the past as a partner of the FPÖ in order to enforce a stricter migration policy. In recent years, however, the ÖVP has remained criticized, especially with regard to their ability to protect citizens in terms of security and social justice.

In the middle of the current political climate, which is characterized by the coalition negotiations between the ÖVP, SPÖ and NEOS, the position of the ÖVP is particularly questioned in public. Voters are increasingly skeptical about the promises of the People's Party to cause changes in migration policy, while at the same time reporting of an increase in violent acts by migrants, as recently during the arson attack in Vienna.
