Nehammer starts new chapter: Ex-Chancellor becomes a management consultant!

The former Chancellor's spokesman and mayor of Altlengbach, Karl Kosak, has a new role as a "special consultant for strategy" in the Ministry of Defense under Minister Klaudia Tanner, as the Kurier reported. Another important step in Austrian politics is the resignation of Karl Nehammer, who resigned his National Council mandate. Nehammer, who recently resigned as a chancellor and ÖVP boss, is planning his future as a consultant. As the Krone reports, he founded Nehammer Consulting GmbH to offer strategic advice and general consulting. The end of a turbulent government formation marks his decision to step out of active politics after the failed coalition negotiations with the SPÖ and the NEOS.

With the waiver of mandate, Nehammer opens new doors in the advice. He is no longer active in politics and hands over his National Council mandate to the lawyer Johanna Jachs, who has already had experience in parliament.
