Massive Russian rocket attack on Ukraine: Energy supply in sight!
Kurachowe, Ukraine - Russia has once again covered Ukraine with a massive rocket attack, with more than 90 Russian rockets fired in his country, according to the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj. The Ukrainian armed forces were able to intercept 81 of the rockets, thanks to the support from the west, which includes F-16 fighter planes. Almost 200 drones were also used in this procedure, and there were officially reports on impacts in cities such as Odessa and attacks on important infrastructure goals, including a heating power plant in Belschyn. Selenskyjs appeal to the West and location on the front
In a tense camp at the eastern front area, an unnamed number of Ukrainian soldiers were exposed to the risk of encirclement at Kurachowe. In the meantime, Selenskyj demanded new support from the West, in particular more effective air defense systems and increased sanctions against Russia to counteract on constant terror. He made it clear that further military help is urgently needed and in the context with an upcoming NATO invitation, as Zeit online reported.
In his recent speech to the Ukrainian Parliament, Selenskyj announced that he had introduced a "victory plan", which was, however, more understood as a wish list to the West. The plan includes, among other things, a structured strengthening of air defense and a clear strategy for non-nuclear deterrence towards Russia. MPs critically noted that it was not clear how the goals contained in the demands should be achieved, since the lack of military support also has the risk of a loss of the Ukrainian national borders.
