Wien, Österreich - On March 25, 2025, an exciting chapter in the history of Austrian football is announced. From Wednesday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m., the ticket for the opening game of the Austrian national team will be available in the World Cup qualification. The home game against Romania will take place on June 7, 2025 at 8:45 p.m. in the Vienna Ernst Happel Stadium. The tickets can be purchased via the ÖFB-Homepage
The World Cup qualification is of particular importance for Austria. Team boss Ralf Rangnick emphasized that the goal for the Austrian eleven is the prospect of winning in the group in order to qualify directly for the World Cup.
