Martin Winkler was officially confirmed today as the only candidate for the chair election of the SPÖ Upper Austria. The decision was made on May 26, 2025, and the member election begins on May 28th to end on June 16, 2025. Winkler has collected a total of 1,585 valid declarations of support from all districts of Upper Austria, which he sees as a sign of unity. He expressed his thanks to the supporters and emphasized that this backing gives him great courage.
