In Austria, families receive different social benefits in difficult financial situations, which can differ significantly depending on the federal state. A large Syrian family in Vienna, consisting of two parents and eleven children, receives around 9,000 euros per month of social benefits. In Vorarlberg, a family of 13 receives a total of 7,047.32 euros, broken down into 1,791.76 euros social welfare for the children, 1,015.56 euros for parents and 3,000 euros in family allowance.
