Last Saturday, the Queer Ball 2024 illuminated the historic Palais Wertheim with an impressive celebration of diversity and individuality. Around 400 guests flocked together to celebrate in a cheerful and inviting atmosphere. The ball was under the motto "Be as you are, because that's a good thing", which was reflected in both the passionate appearances of the artists: inside and in the hustle and bustle of the visitors:organized by Ortrun Gauper, the event became an unforgettable night in which the who-is-who appeared on the Austrian drag scene. A highlight of the evening was the inclusive fashion show "Queer Moments in Fashion", curated by star designer La Hong. Here young designers had the opportunity to present their creative designs together with laymen models from Simmering.
