Meidlinger handicraft market: A festival for local creativity on November 29th & 30th November
In the Meidlinger Ruckergasse 50, a handicraft market will take place on November 29 and 30, which is organized by the district leader deputy Barbara Marx (SPÖ). The event, which runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, offers visitors the opportunity to discover the creative works of nine talented artists from Meidling. Admission is free of charge, which makes the event accessible to everyone.
Barbara Marx had the idea for this handicraft market during a gallery and studio tour when an artist noticed that there was no possibility of exhibiting handicrafts. There are numerous exhibitions for fine arts in Meidling, but the handicrafts have so far often been left out. To change this, Marx took the initiative and organized this market, which offers a welcome opportunity to find individual gifts before Christmas.
creativity and enjoy
The curator expects many visitors to be on site. "It is the perfect opportunity to discover handmade gifts and get into conversation with the artists," said Marx. Market visitors can look forward to a variety of handmade products. In addition to the exhibitions, the physical well -being is also taken care of: drinks, cakes and small snacks are ready to enrich the experience.
"Many people are looking for unique gifts, especially in the run -up to Christmas," explains Marx. The handicraft market could therefore not only offer a valuable platform for the artists, but also be a nice opportunity for the community to support local creativity. The event promises to become a festive journey of discovery for all art lovers.
