The Café Kosmos at Tanbruckgasse 14 has developed into a central point of the Meidling coffee house scene in the past two and a half years. Here a lively, alternative ambience and the traditional Meidlinger charm combine. Visitors are enthusiastic about the self-prepared vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as a variety of innovative drinks, including the trendy turmeric latte and various cocktails. This mixture makes the café a popular meeting place for regular customers and newcomers who settle with their laptop in a cozy corner.

The Café Kosmos is not only known for its culinary offers, but also a starting point for art and culture. Works by artists from the Kunstquartier Vienna Meidling decorate the premises on the walls. "Thanks to the funding from the district, we can hire artists and pay for their performances," explains Sarah Schamat, the managing director of the café.

But the Café Kosmos offers more than just eating and drinking. On Friday, October 25th, you can enjoy a special musical experience with the Duo Ernesty International and the small cardiac chamber orchestra from 8 p.m. Entry to these events is free and offers an ideal opportunity to experience local artists.

Another highlight is on the program on Tuesday, October 29th. From 6.30 p.m. the German author Jürgen Seibold will read from his exciting crime novels. This event is also free of charge and promises to give the audience captivating insights into the world of crime.
