Surprise victory: HC Linz defeats the foxes in handball with 43:27

On the 6th matchday of the HLA Master League, HC Linz caused a big surprise by defeating the BT Foxes, which had been unbeaten so far with 43:27. The game started positively for the Linz, who started the break with a lead of 17:14 in the first half. For the foxes this was the first defeat of the season, while HC Linz celebrated its second win of the season.

But the exciting results do not end here: the fivers from Margareten were also able to celebrate a clear victory. In a game against HSG Bärnbach/Köflach, they triumphed 34:19 after they already led 13: 8 at half -time. This result shows the dominance of the Fivers, which convinced offensive and defensively.

On Friday before, HC Hard celebrated a clear canteen victory against HSG Graz by defeating the Styrians with 38:27. The difference in half time with 22:11 was particularly striking, which underlines the play strength of the Vorarlberg.

A look at the table shows that the BT Foxes are still at the top with ten points despite the defeat. The pursuers UHK Krems and Jags Vöslau each have only one point less. At the end of the table, the West Wiener are with zero points, which makes their need for action clear.
