Start of construction for Peak Homes: Sustainable Living in Village in the third
In a significant step for residential construction in Vienna, the roof of the same -financed condominiums of the Are Austrian Real Estate and UBM Development in the new city district Village was achieved in the third. The shell buildings were completed in an impressive construction period of around a year, and the completion of the 67 apartments and three townhouses is planned for mid -2025
The Peak Homes, which are in close proximity to a two hectare park, represent a future -oriented residential project. "The combination of high-quality architecture and sustainable concepts ensures that these apartments are certified according to the strict Ögni gold standards," explains Angela Lämmerhirt from Are Austria Real Estate. This shows the commitment to ecological sustainability and the climate -friendly approach of the district.
Community -oriented planning
The project includes a wide range of apartment types, with sizes from 33 to 100 square meters, ideal for singles, couples and families. Private open spaces such as loggias, balconies and terraces not only offer retreats, but also space for personal development. The planning of Josef Weichenberger Architects not only focus on individual apartments, but also on community elements that are supposed to promote social interactions.
This includes a co-working space for consensrating working outside of your own four walls, as well as a common room that enables encounters between the residents. Small celebrations can also take place here. Another aspect of the social concept is the reserved area on the ground floor for an ordination that is supposed to make an additional contribution to the community.
The innovative, cross -construction field of energy system that supplies the peak homes with warmth, coolness and electricity, relies on renewable energy sources such as geothermal probes, photovoltaic systems and district heating. This not only ensures an environmentally friendly energy supply, but also contributes to reducing operating costs so that more energy can be produced and consumed on site.
sustainability in focus
The technical basis for the energy system is impressive. 500 geothermal probes and over a megawatt peak on photovoltaic systems work together to create Austria's largest anergi network. A start-up called Ampeers Energy supports the optimal use and distribution of the energy through innovative software solutions in load management.
The entire Village district in the third will have over 2,000 apartments, supplemented by offices, shops and facilities for local supply and education. The central park in the middle of the area offers a valuable space for relaxation and contributes to the quality of life of future residents.
The planning of an almost car -free and bicycle -friendly quarters also lists itself as another aspect that illustrates the environmentally friendly objectives. With this well thought -out infrastructure, short distances in the city are to be promoted, which invites you to a more efficient and resource -saving lifestyle.
Peter Schaller, Managing Director of UBM Development, emphasizes: "The sales figures speak for themselves. In times like this, we have sold more than half of the apartments in a few months, which indicates the excellent quality and the sustainable concept of this project." The Village project in the third could not only be a model for future residential construction projects, but also for the entire urban development in Vienna.
