After many years of intensive use, the old rubber tribute was removed and replaced by a durable artificial turf that invites you to kick and play.

District head Martin Fabisch emphasizes the advantages of the new artificial turf: "This new artificial turf is the first of its kind in the Hamerling Park and offers ideal conditions for kicking. I am pleased that Josefstadt will make it even more family -friendly." In addition, the surface was sealed when laying the lawn, which results in better seepage of the rainwater and prevents the area from heating on hot days.
