At the beginning of the year, the young people met in a park before they had to move to a parking garage because it got too cold. According to the indictment, there was an amicable kiss before the defendant violently forced the girl to act sexual acts.

The 17-year-old defendant has partially confessed to some of the allegations. However, he denies that he has used violence, and his defender has also expressed concerns about the qualification of the crime. The public prosecutor has classified the victim's statements as credible, which could represent a decisive factor for further negotiations. Due to the prevailing media interest, the public was also excluded during the procedure.

Another trial of a 16-year-old suspect is also imminent. The negotiation is scheduled for December 5. This adolescent is accused of also being found with the authorities through the girls' chats. The allegations range from rape to attempted sexual coercion and threats to publish video material.

However, the investigation by the Vienna public prosecutor's office goes beyond these two young people. Legal steps are checked for a total of 14 other people, including two unknown perpetrators who are suspected of also being involved in similar incidents. In particular, some of these suspects are allegations of the production of child pornographic material, which clarifies the scope of the case again.
