The defense lawyer finally called for an acquittal that the court followed, under the pretext that no violence could be determined and there were no indications of an involuntary act. The judge made it clear that there were doubts about the crime, which is why the 16-year-old was acquitted. The decision was met with the victim's attorney Sascha Flatz on sharp criticism, who demanded and asked a "deterrent punishment": "How many victims still have to exist?"
