Simone Lugner: After a year full of drama, the Christmas tradition calls!

An emotional year for Simone Lugner (42) is coming to an end after it started like a dream and quickly became a nightmare. On April 1, her husband Richard "Mörtel" Lugner announced the engagement, followed by a big wedding in the Vienna town hall on June 1st. But these moments of happiness did not last long, because on August 12th the popular building contractor died as a result of health complications. Simone found him lifeless in his bed and fought in vain for his life. The loss transformed the newly baked widow into a woman who has to deal with deep pain and grief, as reported.

dramatic end of love

The funeral service on August 31 was overshadowed by tensions between Simone and the Lugner family. During the funeral, the first public discrepancies threatened to increase the impression of an inheritance dispute. Shortly after Mörtel's death, Simone was also terminated by the Lugner City, where she wanted to work with her husband. According to their statement, the managing directors Jacqueline and Gerald Friede decided "different changes". Simone, on the other hand, felt behind and saw the termination as part of a larger plan, such as Puls 24 reported.

The situation escalated when her grave was desecrated and even threats to murder against it. As the crowning glory of this turbulent year, Simone announced that in 2025 she will take part in ORF format "Dancing Stars". Nevertheless, the desire for a contemplative time with the family is strong: this year she plans to receive her loved ones in her villa in Vienna-Döbling for Christmas while talks about the traditions and dishes for the holidays. Even if the year brought with it many challenges, Simone remains combative and optimistic about the future.
