New Year's reception 2025: A look at Vienna's Natural History Museum!
The Natural History Museum (NHM) Vienna opens its doors to the New Year's reception 2025, warmly invited by General Director Dr. Katrin Vohland and economic managing director Mag. Markus Roboch. On January 20 at 10:30 a.m., an important press conference will take place in the new lecture hall of the museum to take a comprehensive balance of activities and to give exciting insights into planned exhibition and research projects. In the Initiative "A Geological Time Travel Through Vienna" supported by the Austrian Academy of Sciences, geological collections were carried out and around 23,000 objects mapped at 230 finds in Vienna. Time breakdowns are covered from 14 million years ago to the first vines around Vienna 10 million years ago.
