Pioneers are subject to Pustertaler Wolves 0: 4 - clear defeat in Bruneck

The Pioneers Vorarlberg had to accept a significant defeat in Bruneck against the Pustertal wolves. After a successful away game in Asiago just two days earlier, the Stanley cracks could not build on their performance this time.

The game started for the Vorarlbergs in the first third with a deficit when the South Tyrolean team acted dominantly and scored four goals within a few minutes. This forced the Pioneers coach to change early in the goal. Despite a solid defensive performance in the second third, the Vorarlbergers were unable to take an offensive accents and score goals.

In the last third, the game had already been decided because the Pustertal wolves acted confidently and could hold their lead until the end of the game. The defeat was already sealed in the first third, in which all decisive goals were scored.

For the Pioneers, two home games are now coming up this weekend. On Friday you will meet the Vienna Capitals, followed by a game against the leaders Bolzano on Sunday. An important test to find the road to success after the away defeat.
